About the Program
The FORE Research Internship gives students at every level the chance to work on real, active orthopaedic studies alongside our clinical research coordinators, biomedical engineers, and a staff biostatistician. Interns are embedded within the team and contribute meaningfully from day one, not just observing, but doing.
Projects are matched to the intern's background and FORE's current study pipeline. You might assist with patient enrollment and data collection, literature reviews, biomechanical lab work, statistical analysis, or manuscript preparation. No two internships are identical.
We run a structured summer cohort each year and accept rolling year-round applicants. Whether you're heading into medicine, research, or engineering, FORE's internship provides a substantive, mentored experience in one of Florida's most active orthopaedic research settings.
