6th Annual Direct Anterior Approach Hip Course

October 19 - October 21

In light of the effects of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, we have received several calls from surgeons wondering about the status of the upcoming 6th Annual Direct Anterior Approach Course.

At this time, we do not believe we will need to cancel or reschedule the meeting. Our contacts at the venues for the meeting assure us they will be ready to welcome our group in October.

We will continue to monitor the situation in Houston and update you if the status of the meeting changes. In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel the meeting, we will issue full refunds.

Course Overview

Please join us for the 6th Annual Direct Anterior Approach Hip Course, October 19-21, 2017 in Houston, TX at the Westin Galleria Houston.

The anterior approach for total hip replacement is an important surgical alternative to the traditional hip replacement protocol: The approach is tissue-sparing and results in less pain, faster patient recovery, and improved mobility related to the lesser trauma provided by the procedure. The 6th Annual Direct Anterior Approach Hip Course will offer a thorough education on the surgical and patient processes associated with the anterior hip approach, from patient selection through patient recovery and follow-up.

This course is intended for surgeons already using this procedure and are interested in honing their skills. It will be taught by some of the most well-regarded orthopaedic surgeons practicing today. With didactic presentations, video vignettes, and case-based panel discussions, this exciting program will also feature live surgeries and 3+ hours of hands-on cadaver workshops to enhance the educational environment.

We hope to see you for this unique educational experience!
