Attend a Sports Medicine Conference Provided by FORE

If you’re planning to attend a sports medicine conference, consider one of the events provided by FORE – the Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education.

We offer a variety of courses for orthopaedic healthcare professionals, including surgeons, non-operative physicians, and sports medicine specialists. Two of our courses, Baseball Sports Medicine: Game-Changing Concepts and OrthoVirginia Soccer Medicine, are specifically designed to focus on the latest challenges in managing athletes and allow participants to explore the latest treatments and technologies.

At our sports medicine conferences, you’ll be encouraged to:

  • Determine when various forms of surgical and non-surgical treatment are most appropriate, and which indicators are most closely correlated to improved patient outcomes
  • Discuss novel techniques for surgically repairing torn ligaments, fractured bones, and other similar conditions and for helping patients get back to peak performance after these procedures
  • Evaluate care options for irreparable conditions
  • Review the clinical presentations of both common and uncommon sports injuries, as well as the advantages and limitations of different diagnostic methods

You’ll also be encouraged to discuss the course topics with our esteemed faculty and with your peers who are also attending. Our small class sizes and emphasis on peer-to-peer collaboration will set you up for an engaging atmosphere that you won’t be able to find at any other sports medicine conference.
