FORE’s Orthopedic Sports Medicine Conferences Scheduled for 2019
Given the important role that sports medicine plays in orthopedics, the Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE) holds several sports-medicine-focused continuing education conferences every year. Led by well-known surgeons and other thought leaders in orthopedic sports medicine, these conferences give attendees the opportunity to learn from individuals who are at the forefront of the latest advancements. The curriculum for these events reflects the most pertinent information available regarding current techniques, technology and research — and since the topics and presenters are updated on an annual basis, participants benefit from attending these conferences even if they have attended them in previous years. Our lineup of orthopedic sports medicine conferences scheduled for 2019 includes:
Detroit Sports Medicine Symposium (Plymouth, MI – July 2019)
Emphasizing the use of a multi-specialty, multi-faceted approach to helping athletes return to their pre-injury condition, our Detroit Sports Medicine Symposium covers a broad range of current trends related to diagnosing, managing and treating sports-related injuries.
FORE & AANA Present World Series of Live Surgery (Chicago, IL – September 2019)
Organized in partnership with the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), this event features more than 10 live surgery broadcasts, enabling attendees to view contemporary techniques for addressing a variety of knee, shoulder, elbow and hip injuries commonly experienced by athletes.
Baseball Sports Medicine: Game-Changing Concepts (New York, NY – November 2019)
For physicians who treat baseball players, this conference provides a valuable overview of current injury-prevention strategies, treatment approaches and return-to-play guidelines. Participants will explore these subjects through a series of didactic presentations, case-study analyses and live demonstrations.
