Accredited Shoulder Courses for Orthopedic Surgeons & Other Medical Professionals
The shoulder courses provided by the Foundation for Orthopedic Research and Education (FORE) are among the nation’s top medical education conferences for those who practice orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, or others related fields. With shoulder surgery and elbow surgery becoming increasingly common orthopedic procedures, it’s important for medical professionals to be aware of the latest surgical tools and techniques – and attending a FORE shoulder course is the preferred way to acquire this knowledge.
FORE provides several shoulder courses each year, including the Annual ICJR Shoulder Course taking place in Las Vegas from November 3 – November 5, 2016, and the Current Solutions in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery Conference, taking place in Tampa from February 9 – February 12, 2016. These courses include a variety of traditional panels and discussions, as well as:
- A live surgery and a two-hour surgical skills cadaver workshop at the ICJR Shoulder Course
- Pre-course cadaver lab workshops and other hands-on opportunities at the Current Solutions in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery Course
FORE’s shoulder courses and elbow conferences are continually updated to reflect the most relevant areas of interest in the field – from conservative care guidelines and rehabilitation techniques to surgical approaches and implants. Each course is designed to enable participants to apply innovative methods of assessment and management to various shoulder and elbow disorders, and also consider post-operative complications and outcomes when devising treatment plans. FORE’s courses are accredited forms of continuing medical education.
