Orthopedic Training Courses for Continuing Medical Education
The orthopedic training courses offered by the Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE) are specially designed for busy surgeons, physicians, mid-level practitioners and supportive care providers who are looking to continue their medical education. Each course is created to provide specialized education pertaining to a specific area of the field, such as complex joint reconstruction, upper extremity or lower extremity surgery, sports medicine and trauma care, going beyond the basics to help participants improve their particular areas of expertise.
FORE’s orthopedic training courses are:
- Available in several different formats, including both live and online events
- Led by a distinguished team of clinicians, academics and research professionals
- Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and approved by the Board of Certification for athletic trainers
Each course has a unique set of programs that includes paper presentations, clinical research forums, Q&A panels and comparison-contrast debates. Both surgical and non-surgical treatments are highlighted, along with preventive care and rehabilitative strategies. And, select events also offer participants unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience with specific surgical approaches and medical devices, bringing general concepts to life through real-world applications.
Unlike most other orthopedic courses, FORE’s conferences are uniquely designed to be small, collaborative events with abundant time for one-on-one and group discussion. The dynamic and engaging atmosphere is highly appealing to our participants, with many returning to our training courses year after year for additional education.
