Register for an Orthopaedic Symposium Held in Utah

Compared to many continuing education providers, the Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE) stands out for its

specialized focus. Instead of organizing conferences for a wide range of medical disciplines, we cater exclusively to orthopaedic professionals and, therefore, do a better job of planning events that truly help them in their professional practice. Each orthopaedic symposium we hold focuses on a particular subspecialty, ensuring that we have relevant events available for virtually all orthopaedic professionals. At these conferences, attendees can learn from some of the most distinguished practitioners, researchers and educators in their respective fields. Below are two events we have scheduled in Utah.

Selby Spine

This orthopaedic symposium has a long history, and for good reason. The current-day version of a meeting Dr. David Selby started in 1986, our Selby Spine conference provides surgeons with a broad overview of new techniques and technologies related to spine surgery. Through a series of didactic lectures, group discussions and case study reviews, this conference will explore topics such as:

  • Treatment options for complex deformity cases
  • Current trends in imaging
  • Novel implant devices
  • Robotic-assisted surgery
  • The general healthcare marketplace and legal environment

Winter SKS: Shoulder, Knee & Spine

If you’re interested in receiving a comprehensive update on the latest treatment recommendations for many common orthopaedic disorders, then you’ll likely appreciate our Winter SKS conference. This ISAKOS-approved orthopaedic symposium covers the latest surgical methods for treating shoulder, knee, hip and spine conditions, with the intention of helping surgeons improve their operative precision and outcomes. At this event, you can expect to learn about subjects such as:

  • Advanced shoulder techniques, including the Latarjet procedure
  • The proper management of patella instability
  • New techniques for acetabular rim trimming
  • Managing medial and lateral injuries to the knee
