When orthopaedic professionals want to attend continuing education conferences that will be engaging and relevant to their practice, they turn to the Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE).

We’re a non-profit organization that has been offering orthopaedic seminars since 2006, and since then, we’ve established ourselves as the preferred CME provider for many orthopaedic professionals.

Our courses are held at top destinations across the country, including 2 orthopaedic seminars at skiing and snowboarding destinations in Park City, Utah, during the winter: the Selby Spine Conference and Evolving Concepts in Orthopaedic Trauma.

Selby Spine Conference

This orthopaedic symposium provides a broad overview of new techniques and technologies related to spine surgery. Through a series of didactic lectures, group discussions and case study reviews, this conference will explore topics such as:

  • Treating lumbar pathology
  • Optimizing clinical outcomes
  • Cervical spine surgery
  • Avoiding surgical complications
  • Business of spine surgery
  • Complex spine surgery

Evolving Concepts in Orthopaedic Trauma

This course is designed to offer advanced instruction on the management of soft tissue trauma, fractures, and musculoskeletal injuries, from initial evaluation and treatment through rehabilitation. The faculty addresses such topics as:

  • Current controversies in fracture surgery
  • Orthopaedic emergencies and impending crises
  • Avoiding common pitfalls in fracture surgery
  • Pearls for managing complex fractures

The Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians and approved by the Board of Certification to provide continuing education for athletic trainers.
